A few things I like to check around our own home before summer arrives.
MY SPRING CHECKLIST
PLUMBING
- Check taps and toilets for leaks
- Make sure drains are flowing freely
- Check outdoor taps for leaks
ELECTRICAL
- Test smoke alarms
- Check outdoor lights are working
- Give ceiling fans a test run
AIR CONDITIONING
- Clean your filters
- Test your system before the first hot day
- Check for unusual noises, smells or poor airflow
A FEW EXTRAS I LIKE TO DO...
- Clean out the gutters
- Wash outdoor entertaining areas
- Remove outdoor cobwebs
- Give the BBQ a quick clean
